Michael and Tracey Pelham, Spike Williamson and Rita Harvey created a company where a combination of a love for nature, expertise and knowledge of Africa and expert planning of safaris with an eye for detail have earned the company its excellent reputation.
As the key to the ‘Ardan Safaris experience’ is, first and foremost, the guides, Spike and Mike are joined by a third professional guide, Peter Tetlow, to lead safaris throughout Africa. Spike, Peter and Mike are fully qualified Professional Safari Guides who are not only passionate and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, but also have a genuine interest in people.This, coupled with their experience, means they have a good understanding of what makes a good safari. Having one of them accompany you as your personal guide on a safari lifts the safari experience from good to extraordinary.
Ardan Safaris Ltd is based in Nairobi, Kenya and in Victoria Falls, Southern Africa, and the planning and booking of safaris is done by Rita and assisted by Tracey. Both ladies have worked extensively in safari offices – in many different roles – as well as at ground level in the bush in safari camps.This balance of roles of the Ardan Safaris team means they have a unique understanding of guests' needs from the planning stages to the final safari experience, down to every last detail.
